Koh-I-Noor Indian Restaurant

Got some takeaway for my birthday last week - the beef masala and naan bread were OK but the butter chicken was just terrible - worst ever! It tasted sweet and bland, just like condensed tomato soup. The Kantong Butter Chicken variety from the supermarket has a better flavour! Then there was this cucumber dip - very soapy tasting. We were given a free jar of some other sauce as it was my birthday, but would have been happier if the food we paid for was good. From the other reviews it seems that buffet is great but the takeaway falls short. As they have won Gold Plate awards, one expects the same quality throughout.

Brilliant buffet, good service and good food at a good price. It is a great place to go if someone doesn't like curries as there is also a selection of non Indian foods. The take away however does not live up to the buffet it was expensive, bland and disappointing. Shame as it is a good deal for a sit down buffet.

butter chicken is great,not enough nan bread though

got takeaway for dinner here last night. i got the butter chicken which tasted like chicken mixed in with tomato paste and my partner got beef masala which he said tasted like a meat pie. it wasn't proper Indian food at all. we wasted $55 on something we didn't even eat. Would not recommend this place. I could cook better Indian than what we ate.

I love this place!! GREAT food for the money, I like the buffet as I like to try all sorts of curries, I love a good Vindaloo and this place has it. Have taken lots of friends to this place and they all love it, would highly recommend it.
