Kokoro Ramen

I can say that i have had better ramen else where but for Kokoro Ramen it wasn't too bad. Service is average and staff seem to work hard in getting the orders through. The ramen tasted great to begin as it was super hot but as it cooled down i could taste the flavours were lacking. The broth needed a bit more flavour to go with everything else however the gyoza dumpling were nice. Crunchy as they were pan friend. Great location in Melbourne city and easy to get to.

Rather disappointed after recomended by a friend to come here. Ramen were ok, kid's meal (special on Sat/Sun) was cute and serving was very generous. It comes at $16. Prices are not cheap. Good service. Staff were friendly. The place is quite dirty though.

Kokoro Ramen can probably be classified as your old-time 90s Japanese dining shop that seems to love wearing the same old clothes. Even though it is located in the vicinity of Melbourne CBD and has a relatively large and spacious floor, the place seems out of date with low light atmosphere that feels like someone has forgotten to change the broken bulbs, the furniture that appears to have been on the same floor for decades, and som random dance music resembling a mom attending her daughter's prom.

This is a great fun place for Ramen. They have an extension ramen restaurant with lots of different types of noodles and combinations. For an additional $2 you can have gyozas as a side dish as well. They do a decent tonkatsu curry and also the service is fast and friendly. You have to come up and order at the counter. It's very a authentic experience.

nice little Japanese Ramen shop, food, taste fine expect it is a little bit expensive. I am very curious if anyone tried the ramen challenge, mahybe i will try it next time. BTY they were so thoughtful to remind us the vegetable ramen is not for vegetarian ~
