Kooringal Chinese Restaurant

Came here with a friend during a business trip. Asked around town for a good Chinese restaurant to eat at, and pretty much everyone suggested this place. Arrived at the location and saw a few people inside, normally a good sign of a good restaurant.

Was mucked around a little bit a first from a staff member who told us it was staff's first day. Staff took us to a table and just as we were about to sit down, another staff yelled out, "don't sit them there, its right near the door, the floor moves and its too noisy". The worst I have ever eaten special fried rice was just boiled rice basically capsicum and celery in everything no flavour in food will never go there again waste of money going in the bin

I'm from Sydney so I had no idea where to eat good Chinese. I asked around and was told anything but this place. So I went against everyone's judgements and tried this place as I read the review on true local. As my family and I were staying at the mercure, I though this place wasn't too far either. We ordered the Mongolian lamb, honey chicken, special fried rice and spring rolls. The only bad decision I made was to order the large serving instead of the small. It was way too much!! But that's a good problem. The food was outstanding!! Lamb was tender and tasty, the honey chicken was to die for... After too many bad experiences in Victoria, it was a welcome change. Mind you the staff were pretty friendly and helpful as well. If I'm ever in Wagga Wagga again, I'm definitely making that stop in the mall again!!

Delicious Chinese cuisine. Very tasty and enjoyable food. We used their take away service, which was very efficient considering they seemed quite busy. I recommend trying the 'Rainbow Steak' you wont be disappointed.
