Food was nice, however the service was terrible. First of all we received the wrong meal as the waitstaff had got it wrong. We sent it back only for another waitstaff to come back out and contest our original order. We did not want to make a fuss so we took it anyway. Then our second meal came out (green thai curry) which had a caterpillar hanging from the garnish. They came out and took it away only for the senior waitress to come back out and tell us that they have removed the caterpillar so here is the meal back without the garnish. I ate it anyway as I did not want to cause a fuss. They did not mention any kind of discount etc and then when I had to pay I was to stand in line with all the takeaway people. I was almost going to walk away without paying. Beautiful restaurant, good food, Very bad service. I would never go back.
Food was great, however I had an issue with the corkage charge. We waited for our wine to be opened and served to us, but it never happened. On paying our bill I told the staff that I was not happy to pay corkage as we served our own wine. The staff was rude in the response and stated that they never served the wine, just charged the fee. I informed them that it would make the difference between us dining there again or not, and staff didn't care. Hence I paid the fee, and will not dine there again.
I will stress again that the food was great.
Had a great meal but the service was very poor, slow in taking our order, the person serving us was non communicative, meals for 3 out of 4 arrived and had to ask for the fourth. Had to request table to cleared and not once did anyone apologise or ask if we were enjoying the meal.
