DO NOT BOTHER - the worst most appalling dining experience I have ever had to endure! We waited an hour and a half for meals that didn't arrive and all the management could say was that we were standing up around the table when we arrived so we put the wait staffs off. They also went on to say that the restaurant is not made for ppl to order off the menu even tho they have a menu for us to select from??! They took no responsibility for the wait and blamed us entirely for our meals taking so long. I am shocked and disgusted, do yourself a favour and stay far away from this place.
DO NOT VISIT THIS ESTABLISHMENT! Had a family dinner with 12 people last night who ordered off the menu, TWO hours later food still hadn't arrived. Spoke to management & they rudely argued with me that they "specialise" in the BBQ meal option so it was OUR fault food took so long. They stated they look after the BBQ section & takeaway before any sit-down meals. ABSURD!! There was approx 30 people in restaurant & after 2 hours only HALF the food arrived anyway. 6 people went without dinner. Management attitude was absolutely DISGUSTING. Don't waste your time & money (still cost me $65 for the evening).
The best of the best! The food here is always so good we over order just so we get a taste of everything! My fave is the Pork Mince Eggplant, or the Crispy Chilli Garlic Calamari, oh hang on, maybe it's the BBQ - um, the Mandarin pork....lol - never ever lets us down - great if you have kids or want an intimate dinner - the atmosphere suits everyone and the owner always welcomes you "home"! A must eat - one of the best in the region!
just like a fine wine, it seems kublai only gets better with age. The decor has had a revamp since we last came & the staff that greeted us were happy, friendly & attentive. a rare find indeed. kublai offers half price margeritas during the week...yum! i find it hard to go past the mongolian all you can eat bbq - why mess with a good thing if you've never had mongolian bbq before, its great. its kinda like the diy of dining out. a winner that keeps on winning
