We ordered from here via Ubereats recently. I am quite picky with my thai food, so my Pad Kee Mao was pretty average (it was quite sweet, and I like it a bit more saltier and spicier which it lacked). However my partner who ordered cirspy pork belly really loved it, saying it was fresh and flavourful.
Kukthai has fabulous local thai food. Super fresh ingredients! My fav is the beef basil stir-fry with loads of veges, however they do like their spice quota... so if you like mild, I'd recommend actually saying no chilli. Their mild heat is more like medium! The coconut rice is simply delicious! They generally say 45 minutes for delivery, however often are at your door within 30 minutes or less.
I often get Thai take away from here because it is always fresh and tasty. The staff are very friendly and they do delivery which doesn't leave you waiting for hours. Although I often pick it up as I don't mind driving there as there is always parks right outside which makes it easy. My fav dish is the pad woon sen - vermicelli noodles with veggies and beef.
This colourful little shopfront on busy Queen St, Woollahra serves up some fantastic food. Kuk Thai offers a bit more than just your Thai takeaway. It also makes fresh juices and smoothies all day, which are perfect in the morning. The banana breakfast smoothie or the Bangkok detox vegetable juice is a great way to start the day. Otherwise they offer bacon and egg rolls and quality coffee to takeaway early morning. However, as the name suggests, what this place does best is its Thai takeaway with all the favourites on offer. They do a particularly brilliant Chicken Pad Thai and Tom Yum soup with prawns. All of their stirfries and curries are fresh and flavoursome. They also do some healthy and delicious fresh Vietnamese spring rolls for that afternoon snack or as an entree. The service is fast and effective and the meals are well-priced. A great little local takeaway joint.
