There is a large menu of food items to choose from. The food is good depending on what you pick. On my recent visit I tried the new and improved Pad Thai Noodles, and they were not improved, they were pretty much the same as last time I visited. I love the way they ask if you have a booking even though there are loads of empty tables available and then they make you feel awkward for not making a booking. Food is good, reasonably priced but the service is pretty indifferent.
After many years of eating here I have to say that The Owner of Kulcha is more interested in the turnover of customers than the quality of service. It has never been the highest level of service but it has always been accepted, unfortunately now you are asked , prior to sitting down, how long you have and are told when you have to vacate the table. The staff are not fully aware of the menu contents and, occasionally, it would be nice to see a smile on their faces. My most recent experience has got me questioning if I would ever go back again. There has to be a massive improvement and I MEAN massive . Sorry
Food is very good and extremely well priced. I tend to come here more for lunch than dinner as it is a cafe. Drinks service is slow unlike the food we got our starter and main at the same time on our last visit. It is always packed and every table is booked out at weekends. Definitely value for money, large selection of Asian food on the menu. Thai Red Curry was very good. Licenced NO BYO.
Its always busy here which speaks for itself, don't bother trying to phone in an order as they never pick up their phone - i don't think they get a spare second to themselves!
The food here is always good, I've been comming here for years now. You can usually get a table unless its an evening on the weekend. Service is quick but if its busy you can expect to wait up to half an hour - worth it though.
