La Brasserie

This is one very classy yet unpretentious brasserie. Owner and staff are all French and you feel you have left Sydney. An excellent wine menu is worth exploring. Menu us superbe. .

If you miss Paris, just go straight to this nice little Bistrot/ Brasserie. As a french person, I believe that this is an authentic french Brasserie similar as the one that you can find in Paris but with a better food and a greater wine selection. Extremely friendly staff, great ambiance. Don't hesitate, go for it!

My wife wanted to try escargot and by brilliant luck, we found ourselves heading to la Brasserie and it proved to be an enchanting experience.

The staff, complete with charming French accents, were more than willing to guide us through the menu and ensure that we were made at home. We mused over the menu and picked a great bottle of wine and gave our order. With little wait, we were presented with escargot and charcuterie. Both dishes were splendid, almost beyond belief. We followed this up with two slow cooked options and they melted in our mouths and made us feel so content.

La Brasserie is a great French restaurant and I don't think I can promote it highly enough. It is worth going to, whether for a regular indulgence or a special romantic evening of being treated to the best.

Having google searched for French restaurants in the city who serve escargot, we were directed to la Brasserie. It was everything that we hoped for and more. From the doorway, to the music, to the menu we were reminded of our wonderful time in Paris.

La Brasserie looks great and upon entering, the staff took control and ensured us a great evening. The menu is tempting all round and we tried the snails for something different - they impressed and set a very high benchmark for the rest of our night. And that benchmark was acheived with the other meals too; the subtle and unique flavours of their food is fabulous and we rave to all our friends that they must come here when they venture to Sydney.
