If you're looking for great value, wide range and tasty meals, then this is a great place! Not the most appealing looking place from the outside but don't let that put you off. Great range of meals, pizzas, pasta etc.
We love the calamari salad and chips (real calamari). Pizzas are also really great and great service.
Probably the worst Italian I have ever had. The brussetta was made using cheap garlic bread topped with tomato, the sauce in my Napolitana was burnt to the point that it was bitterly unedible and the pizza base of our "gourmet" Mediterranean pizza was uncooked. Next time I would rather burn a $50 note than pay for this poor quality, disgustingly awful experience.
Overall not a bad experience. I had the seafood combo. I don't think this place is famous for its seafood somehow. The fish piece was ultra small and calamari overcooked. The prawns however were very nice.
The service was very good and friendly. It has a family friendly feel to the place and I would not hesitate bringing the clan along for an eat out evening.
This restaurant is a surprising little gem, considering its not the most appealing looking place, and i probably wouldn't go there for a special occasion, the quality of the food is pretty darn impressive.
They make really nice pizza's, Chicken and Pasta dishes. They also have chef specials written up on the wall every now and again, and i haven't had a experience at all at La Festiva.
If you are looking for a place to go for a quality italian bistro style meal, at a decent price, this is the place.
Personally, i think its a much better option than La Porchetta and the Sophia's..
