I worked here some 18 years ago when I was in my first and second years at uni.
At the time, I was paid minimum wage which was between $5-$7 an hour. I didn’t receive penalty rates for the weekends I worked. They didn’t pay my super until I complained. I had to have a minor surgery to have a lump removed from my breast and they didn’t allow me to take personal leave as they deemed it to be ‘elective surgery’. Unfortunately, the statute of limitations is expired or I would be taking this nasty penny-pinching family to court.
Also, anything that is ‘shop-stained’ with bodily fluids is washed by the store owner and tags are put back on for it to be sold to the next unknowing customer.
