La Pennys salon

I visited La Penny's salon upon reading positive reviews, however I was quite disappointed with my hair cut and half head of foils. Some parts of my hair were patchy where they blond foils were not properly applied to my naturally darker hair. The cut was very average for the cost of it all. Whilst I don't enjoy chatting the whole time to the hairdresser doing my hair, some conversation would have been nice and I had to listen to the same Edith Piaf album on repeat for 3 hours.

Amazing Penny gave me a beautiful makeover. Four hours later and im feeling like Marilyn Monroe in Manly! I went from messy brunette with scattered blonde highlights to fully platinum ash blonde and a short textured cut. I love it! Perfect for my upcoming vacation. I also love the salon design and music is delightful. My favorite salon ever. Plus Moritz is the cutest greeter ever!

Hi Penny, what a great experience today at your beautiful salon in Manly!! I just loved the time there and you did a amazing job with my new colour and cut ! The whole time I was feeling like a Princess sitting in some boutique salon in Paris.

Amazing! Penny does fantastic work for both men and women. Cuts are brilliant, service is wonderful and the price is good. The salon has a lovely atmosphere - my tea was served in a beautiful china cup with a delicious piece of cake! I have only just moved to Manly and so it was with much trepidation that I sought out a new hairdresser (I have been in tears after having bad haircuts elsewhere in the past). I am so very pleased with my new haircut. Penny has been cutting hair for over 20 years and I also watched her do a superb cut for a gentleman who popped into the salon whilst I had a conditioning treatment. I will definitely go back.
