La Porchetta Restaurant

This place has gone downhill over the years. The food is a lackluster but then again, you get what you pay for. The chefs don't take pride in what they make, my lasagane was cold. It used to be a very popular restaurant chain, but people's tastes have evolved. It's in a good location, very close to the cinema and they do decent milkshakes.

I haven't been to La Porchetta in a long time and i decided to have dinner as a family not to long ago. I can definitely say that the prices have increased over time and the portion is a lot smaller. I ordered a porterhouse steak with a side serve of salad which was smaller than what it use to be. My husband ordered something new that we never seen on the menu before, roast pumpkin salad and he added chicken. He assumed it was going to be warm but in fact it was actually cold so wasn't as pleasing. The only thing i found value for money was the kids menu. For $12.90 we chose a lasagna, chips, drink and ice cream. It was actually a big serving for kids. My steak taste fine and the mushroom sauce was good and salad was refreshing.

Lovely place to grab a bite before watching a movie. Wait staff wasn't very friendly, but our chips, dipping sauce and drinks came out quick and were very tasty. Inexpensive too!

What a complete waste of time going to this place! The food is very ordinary and any other option is almost guaranteed to be better. The service is not great, I have had worse (giving them half an extra star) but it's not great. Overall the place also has quite a bit of 'sleaze' factor.

Went to this " Restraunt" with a girl friend ordered a small Margareta pizza , garlic bread , veal and two drinks. After watching the waitress take our pizza and bread to 4 different tables before realizing we were the one who ordered it , I had to wait about 15 minutes until my veal and salad came out . My friend had finished her meal already I had to sit and watch her eat sitting there hungry . Finally get my meal no apology for the wait from the waitress my veal was burnt and salads looked old. When it came to pay there was no eftpos machine so I had to go to an a.t.m . Told cashier that we werent happy to have to wait for separate meals and was given the rudest response this person had no custermer service what so ever was arrogant and didn't even apologies it was disgusting.
