La Porchetta Restaurant

I took a group of seniors for a meal to celebrate my birthday. The service was friendly and we had lots of attention. The food came in a reasonable time BUT tuna patties and chicken were hard, the quiches were burnt the salad was dry. I ate mine but my friends could not eat theirs. We dont like complaining but I realise that nothing will change if I am not honest. We have always had good food in the past .My thoughts are that the food was precooked and warmed up. What a shame!

DISGUSTING!!!! First and last time i will ever set foot in Pakenham la porchetta, being originally from the northern suburbs the la porchetta's down there are decent, Pakenham la porchetta should be shut down, the food was terrible not even my kids would touch it, the cuttlery and glasses were disgusting you cant even see threw the glasses with the amount of scratches on them i couldn't even drink it, its just filthy, if you appreciate good food dont even bother going in there Mc donalds is just next door.

Disgusting. This was the most revolting excuse for a 'meal'. We just threw it all in the bin, got something else.

I've always tough that for a restaurant to be good it should serve good food, but the service must also be like that. This place is an example of that. Had the service been a bit better this would have been my regular place. Unfortunately all the times I've visited the staff worked really efficiently, but were just to emotionless and seemed like they just want to be done with the job and get it over with. Never the less the food is exceptionally good, so it this place is still worth an occasional visit or two.

Made a booking for 6 pax. When we arrived we were pointed to a table that hadn't even been set. No cutlery etc. Staff then started to set the table whilst we were sitting there but halfway through got called over to the bar by the management. Oh well, finish setting the table by ourselves..... Waited for 10 minutes before they came back and asked us if we were ready to order.... Ummmmm..... honey, you haven't given us menus yet and a 'would u like something to drink' would be nice.... Menus then unceremoniously dropped on the table.... Waited another 10 minutes until they came back and placed our order (still no drinks!!!) After about 15 minutes our drinks arrived and I told the kids not to finish their drinks as dinner would be arriving shortly...... Ummmmm...... about 45 minutes later (still waiting for meals) I was getting fed up and decided to go outside for a cigarette.
