La Porchetta

Had a family birthday at La Porchetta Sunshine complete with a never still, always screaming 16 month old. Nothing was too much trouble for Chris the manager and all the other staff were lovely too. Food was as always very good. We know where we’ll be going for family dinners now. Thanks Chris.??

Ordered a smoked salmon pizza and was shocked to see that the salmon slices were torn into small pieces and placed on all slices of the pizza. Basically it was a smidgen of the salmon slices on the pizza.

Called and spoke to the manager who said that the chef weighs the slices that they place on the pizza and later on said that maybe there were more slices on one side and the weight wasn't an issue. ...read more

I have had bad experiences at other La Porchetta's and sometimes a bit hesitant to try another La Porchetta at a different location but it was late night shopping and this one looked pretty popular so we decided to give it a try. We were seated pretty much straight away and the waiter came to give us the menu. I noticed other than the universal menu, this La Porchetta has its own additinoal menu with slightly different dishes on it. So we ordered a staeak that comes with chips and salad for the same price from the main menu which only gives an option of chips or salad so ordering from their additional menu is more worth while. We also ordered a kids meal lasagna and that came out pretty quick fro my hungry little boy. Also the juice came in a kids bottle so easier for kids to drink rather than a glass with a straw. Food is average like any other La Porchetta but so far the experience here at this one has been better than all the others.

This place used to be awesome. Their food used to be of a high quality but since the change of ownership this place has gone downhill. Their pizza and pasta are no longer the same and their pasta no longer tastes fresh. I would give this place a miss.

La Porchetta sunshine is close to home & as a family we occasionally come here. On once occasion, we had 2 meals come out incorrectly. In which we notified as soon as we realised so the wait staff took the meals back to re-cook as the steaks were completely undercooked. After waiting another 40mins, the meals came back out, it looked the same. So we asked that the 2 meals be removed off the bill as we were not going to wait another 40mins when the rest of my family had already finished their meals. The wait staff went to discuss with their management on duty, who came to our table and said we had to pay for those 2 meals because it has been prepared. After explaining the situation to the management, they still refuse and wanted me to pay for 2 uneaten meals in which we waited a long time for.
