First off I will definitely give this hotel another try after the renovations.
My partner and I stayed two nights at the hotel during the week and not in a peak period.
When we arrived we had to wait for the receptionist to finish their conversation with friends, then other staff members. We got to the penthouse suite we booked, which wasn't disgustingly unclean, but no where near hotel standard.
