I really liked this little coffee shop on the main Lane Cove shopping strip. When I came here on a Sunday Afternoon, it was rather quiet, and the lovely day meant that I was able to sit on one of the outdoor seats. I ended up getting a pot of tea, and it was made to perfection, which is what I really like. The staff are really friendly, and it is also a great place for a bit of people watching.

La Provence Espresso Bar is a quaint cafe in the village area of Burns Bay Road, Lane Cove. They offer coffee, breakfast, brunch, patisserie bites and also catering.
Inside, it is spacious and there’s also outdoor seating. We chose to enjoy our breakfast outside on this occasion.

The staff are extremely welcoming and accommodating. The owners are a husband and wife duo who had previously run a Japanese fine dining restaurant, Sage, in Crowsnest. ...read more

With a slight name tweak to La Provence Espresso Bar, Arthur and Janie re-launched the cafe in late June.

The new menu is an unusual blend of elements from the French-style patisserie it used to be, with a casual version of the intriguing French-Japanese ...read more

I had a good coffee here this week, as well as a pastry. There's no doubt, best bread in Lane Cove, not a huge range, but that's ok,
And a beaut selection of tarts and desserts, so good you could serve them at a dinner party and pass it off as something you made yourself .

A cosy patisserie in the heart of lane cove- this is a local favourite where families come to get a coffee, a baked treat and even something to take home!
There is a vast selection of tarts, muffins, and also chocolate truffles!
