Pubs & Bars

I have to say that I wasn't all that impressed with this place. Basically it is another one of those small tapas bars that seem to have suddenly appeared everywhere that the Adelaidians are now flocking to after work for drinks with their mates. Like a lot of them they have a range of beers and wines available, however with the beer there isn't a huge selection. They also have a range of nibbles, or tapas (which is the correct word) which you can munch on while sitting with your mates. It is an okay place, and there are some seats out the front, but being a Melbournite, I have to say that I still don't feel that they are all that fantastic as there are much better bars elsewhere. I guess I prefer my traditional Adelaide pub (or something that is really out of the ordinary).
I had after work drinks here with colleagues and I decided to stick with a mocktail as I already had a drink at another bar previous. There wasn't a mocktail menu as such but the bartender delightfully said to me he will whip up something for me by just telling him my preference in flavors. He concocted this pretty berry flavor cocktail that was very refreshing! Great job!
I have walked pass this place numerous times but have not had any reason to go in as yet, but when some friends mentioned we should all catch up for a drink one night after work I put my hand up and suggested we go here if none of us had been there yet - perfect, none of us had! So last week we came here and ordered two jugs of Sangria's to share. The Sangria was nicely made, we enjoyed it. The drinks menu had a good range to choose from. I hear their Long Island Iced Tea's are pretty good so I guess we'll be back next time to try! ;)
