Terrible hairdressing services. Have been there a total of 4 times, first visit was great, second visit with Jo, the owner, was terrible, she loudly humiliated me infront of her staff and other clients by complaining that I had ‘dreds’ when my hair was straight and fine, and yelling out ‘what are you doing’ in a condescending tone when I was whimsically stroking the colour through my hair. The third time was because of the terrible job that she did the previous time, resulting in the colour washing out within a week, making me go back for a redo. The last time was in hope of re-enacting the first experience I had and I specifically asked to have a young, experience hairdresser, not Jo, over the phone. I ended up with a 90 year old woman with no experience whatsoever and who I later learned was on trial (after my ears and top were soaked and hair colour poorly and roughly done by her incompetence), prompting me to leave the salon before receiving the style cut and blow dry ...read more
Had a highly disappointing experience today. The girl who did my hair was lovely best hair cut and customers service from her behalf! The manager however spoke to me like I was nothing, I've never ever felt so uncomfortable in my life I actually should have just waked out. I left horrible after. I'm extremely unhappy with the colour of my hair not the colour I wanted and the way I was treated by the person who runs the salon! I spent Way more money then I intended I had things added on I didn't know no way cost extra! I do not want to go back ever!!
Good afternoon Isheath. I am very sorry to hear you had such a terrible experience. We would really love to see you try us again. la.saint is now under new ownership and is going great guns!! My name is Jo the new owner, come say hi. Your next experience I promise will be awsome!!
Ok decided to try La Sainte hair after my old hairdresser closed down. I decide to go dark after being plaitnum blonde for years. It was a bit too dark but due to the drastic change but I decided to stick it out for a few months. This cost me $700. went back a few days ago to start going lighter. I know this is a slow process. But I was told my hair looked a bit red due to the light I was sitting under. This is not the case it is red. I was more annoyed that the hairdresser cut way too much off my hair. My hair was to the middle of my back and is now just past my shoulders. The best part was the owner spoke to me like I was a 2 year old telling me I needed to take care of my hair this time. I also have never had my hair brake so much from using the products they suggested. I will never be returning and telling all my friends to stay away!
Hi Jaimileebaker, I am terribly sorry you had such an awful experience. Just to let you know, the salon is now under new ownership. We would love to see you again. Please let us know who you are if you do return and I will make sure it will be worth your while... kind regards
Jo (Owner)
I decided to go dark and my previous hair dresser had left so decided to try here. It was way darker than I expected and quite a shock as I had been platinum blonde. I stuck the dark out for a few months but wanted it a bit lighter. Got my hair done yesterday and it is nothing like I asked for. I kept being told that it looked red due to the lighting in the salon. Nope it has a all over red tinge. I know from being blonde for about 10 years its not an easy process to get it back but my hair is terrible. Not to mention that my hair was previously to the middle of my back and is now shoulder length after asking for a trim. I was also interrogated about the products I use as my hair was heating up when the foils were applied. I only use professional products and my hair has always heated up with bleach. The top of the ice berg was when the owner told me to look after my hair this time speaking to me like a 2 year old! I will never be going back here.
Checked out the price for 10 foils aI wanted to blend my lighter root colour with older dark colour. Foils were done then no. 400 toner was put through. This was not discussed. I ended up with bright red hair! I was asked if I wanted my short hair dried. Would presume that having had it washed, that would be normal.
I was charged $55.00 for the foils and $53.95 for the blow dry!
