La Spiaggia Italian Restaurant

This restaurant used to have a very old school interior, until a few years ago when they decided to revamp and made it a lot more interesting for a lot of people to dine in. With a relatively small frontage and a larger area at the back, this now-modern is now very crowded with people from young adults, families with children, and even older adults. It does become quite noisy, something that does not seem to match with its slightly darken yellow light ambiance which is usually used for a more up-scale atmosphere.

I've eaten here quite a few times over the years and I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal, nor has anyone with me. I would say the food is a little on the pricey side for what you get, but that seems to be the case with a lot of local restaurants these days! The staff have always been attentive and helpful and the wine list is pretty good too. I wouldn't rave, but I certainly wouldn't balk at eating here. A good all round restaurant.

The best pizza & pasta in coogee so tasty and not too heavy. Myself and my boyfriend love this place if we dont sit in we order and collect its so good. The staff are very friendly.

What a shocker! The wait staff are rude and unfirendly and the meals are over priced. All the meals came out to the table seperately and some were even cold! As a local for over 20 years I cant seem to understand why how this place stays in business....must be the tourists!

Six of us went to this restaurant for dinner last night. Out of the 6 only 1 person had a good meal. One of us ordered a grilled Seafood dish and the mussel's were off. Overall the food was terrible and the wait staff were pushy and unfriendly. As a local person I certainly will never go back.
