Starting my property management career over 7 years ago working at a high end boutique personal concierge, luxury accommodation business in Queenstown, give me the experience and the passion for property management, personal concierge and exceptional customer service skills.
From here I worked for a successful property management company called Oxygen Property in Wellington as a property manager. I spent four years managing a portfolio of over 200 properties, dealing with high end clients, looking after furnished and unfurnished long term properties.
Thereafter I found myself working in the boutique high end market again working for Ellouise Tyrrell Property Management in Bronte, managing a portfolio of select properties and short term fully furnished holiday rentals.
I saw a market within the Eastern Suburbs specialising in short term holiday and corporate rentals, providing personal concierge and presenting an extra attention to detail service for owners and guests.

The absolute WORST service I have ever received from any company in Australia. I booked a house in Bondi, NSW months in advance and was in correspondence with a staff member named Kathryn.
Firstly, she asked for personal details of all members staying at the house, including copies of licences and job titles. I booked and paid for the house through their website two months in advance, I was excited about my stay.
My family had been spread across the country and overseas for Christmas and we were all travelling to Sydney to meet for the long weekend have a belated Christmas celebration.

Accommodation was very clean, and comfortable. Accommodation was in a great spot that is if you could actually access it. The lift was out of order and 5 nights and out of the 7 days we were there. We were forced to wait outside in the street at the garage for a resident to come and let us into the building or climb a wall to acces the garage to access the building. Consistantly sending messages saying this wasn't good enough and then being accused of waiting till the last day to complain so i could get free accommodation. Very unprofessional Lisa and La'bode however in saying that Georgia, an employee, was very understanding, and did her absolute best.
Terrible experience, terrible customer service, STAY WELL CLEAR.
I placed a booking 5 months in advance, and had shown my family pics of where we would be staying, for our holiday of a lifetime. Lisa Abode cancelled the booking 4 weeks prior, leaving us with no time to find similar accommodation.
I was advised that there were 'extenuating circumstances' requiring cancellation of the booking, but when checking the booking history for my property and other Lisa Abode properties, I discovered that cancellations are a regular occurance.
Don't waste your time. A truly awful experience with a number of attempts to book properties, pay deposits and full payments - to only have bookings cancelled after payment due to "accidental listing errors" The agents were accepting payments, and then cancelling or forcing extended stays to meet 'minimum stay requirements' that were contrary to the original listings and not advertised online. Efforts to escalate were handled poorly with slow or non-responsive communication.
A thoroughly disappointing experience and shockingly unprofessional property group. Not surprising to see similar experiences from others here, as well as property owners - Clearly, this is a business to be avoided at all costs
