Labour In Vain

Awesome local pub feel with great live bands coming through and friendly barstaff. Decent craft beer selection, too--I had a 2 Brothers IPA while watching ninetynine. I haven't even been to the rooftop deck, but I will definitely be back to see it.

As some people have suggested, this is basically your typical corner bar. Not that that's a bad thing because this bar is a pretty decent corner bar, at least that was my impression the last time I came here. The first time it just seemed to be one of those boring bars with just one room, however this second time I came here I suddenly discovered that they had this cool rooftop deck. This ended up clinching the deal and it has gone from being just an ordinary bar to a pretty cool bar. They have a number of craft beers on tap, as well as the standards for those who don't like craft beers, however the thing that caught my eye was that it had a lot of old artifacts on the walls around the main room. It seems like one of those trendy inner-city bars that is trying to maintain the old style of the original neighbourhood, and in a way it works.
