We stayed one night at Lady Bay Resort as part of a week long trip from Melbourne to Adelaide via the Great Ocean Road. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment on a high floor. I booked the apartment online and had the opportunity to choose the exact apartment based on photos and other information. We chose one on the top floor (I think it was level 4) with a balcony and views over the river and out to the ocean. It is a short walk down to the coastal parklands and the beach and pier.
The apartment was extremely spacious, with a generously sized bedroom, living/dining and kitchen areas. The bed was big and comfortable.
We bought groceries and dined in for both dinner and breakfast today, and found the kitchen to be clean, modern and fully equipped.
It's by no means a 5 star hotel, but it provides great facilities for a clean, comfortable and family-friendly stay.
Was recommended to stay here for my short visit in Warrnambool and talk about being glad to take that recommendation. This self-serviced apartment facility gives you the home away from home feel. We checked into the 2 bedroom apartment located on the 3rd floor where living space wasnt a problem. I had a stunning view from the balcony looking out to the Merri River and you could just see the beach from there too. The kitchen and bathroom both had stone bench tops and there was a brand new fridge in the apartment too. Lady Bay must have had recent renovations or they do a really good job with keeping the resort in immaculate condition. The bed is comfortable and spacious. The location is prime with a less than 5 minute walk out to the beach front and other outdoor recreations in the other direction. Staff were very assisting indeed. My new holiday getaway! Lovely accommodation. I can recommend the luxury one bedroom apartments - spacious and with great views. Friendly and helpful staff, both at reception and in the restaurant. I was also satisfied with the quality of the meals in the restaurant. The location is superb!
During my stay at Lady Bay Resort, I was unwell for a day. The reception attendant at Lady Bay could not have been more helpful, making sure I was looked after in my room, and completely comfortable. Restaurant food was organised for breakfast and an extension of stay whilst I recovered, at my very short notice, in holiday peak time - assuring I would not have to change apartment. I was so impressed with the service and kindness. The Lady Bay Resort was located in an idyllic part of Warrnambool - in the immediate vicinity of the beach, fishing, the adventure park, surf club, beachside cafes/takeaway, and school holiday fairground attractions. And a great restaurant onsite too. My one bedroom apartment was situated adjacent to the swimming pool, - and free internet available in the reception foyer. A very comfortable stay. One I would recommend to all.
