After years of having hair extensions (10+ years) I feel I’m in a great position to write a review. I’ve been to all the high profile hair extension salons in Prahran, Toorak and Port Melb, to name a few. All promised the same, long lasting, natural virgin hair. All seemed very knowledgeable and genuine but what I realized soon was that they all treated their businesses as a money making rather than being honest with explaining what their product is. Manufactured hair which has gone through many processes before you get it, hence why it doesn’t last... I’ve bought hair for $300 which is the same as the $2K ones.
The extensions became brittle, course and unmanageable after 6-9mths. If you’ve had extensions before you will know that it’s an addiction so not having them is not an option.. so I would keep spending money on inferior products, replacing with new hair each time. ...read more

I have had extensions for over 15 years. Ive have lived in several different cities around the world (London, LA, NY, Stockholm, Melbourne) so Ive seen it all, Ive heard it all and Ive tried it all. Most hair suppliers, salons are completely ignorant about quality of the hair where it comes from and how to install it etc Whatever they have been told by corporate companies and methods on how to install they will claim is the best on the market. Most of the time they just go by what it says on the packet… (If there is a packet involved you know you’re in trouble) Extension installation - Ive had my own hair cut off when removing extensions. Ive had wefts put on back to front in the wrong places.
