Lagoon Cafe

My traditional day at the beach just has to include Fish and Chips and an ice cream treat. Fish and chips are just the best at this place, it is just the kind of Cafe that should be by the beach. Fed up with all the repetitive, predictable franchises!

Just love this place, never had a problem with the service. I'm a regular and have been for years. Their hot chips are the best around. Many friends of mine will make a special trip out for them. It is exactly what a beachside cafe should be and it has come a very long way from the filthy shack it was in the past.

I was extremely disappointed with the poor service provided here. The staff were very unfriendly and food wasn't far behind. The food was not very nice and was very expensive for what it was. The hot chocolate we ordered was terrible, I may as well have ordered warm milk. Would defiantly not recommend it to anyone. Would not go back there anytime soon and hopefully if I do go back in the future all the unfriendly staff would have been replaced with kind, welcoming ones.

Terrible service, food and cafe decor was pretty ordinary.Prices were pretty expensive for quality of food.

What a fantastic location! Loved the traditional beach side cafe style of this place. We were made very welcome straight in off the beach. A refreshing change from the concrete trendy cafes that all look the same. The dining area was cheerful and bright with a beach theme. The staff were chatty, friendly and had great local knowledge to direct us to places of interest. The kids loved the soft serve ice cream but It's the yummy fish & chips that will make me go back for more!
