Sold us a Daikin system that was not fit for purpose. Our old roof mounted multi-head system died after 12 years. After a site visit and extensive consultation with Laguna Bay Airconditioning, was convinced that a Daikin multi-head system with a roof mounted external unit would be the most robust system for a coastal setting. Agreed with paying extra for rust protection.
First repair was needed after a year and after only 3 years the external unit is dead and Laguna Bay are recommending it be replaced. Daikin are not standing by their warranty. Sorry but three years out of an air-con system under any conditions is rubbish. Bad advice from Laguna Bay.
