Lake Bolac Caravan Park
We cater for one day stay overs, holidays of several days to several weeks, gray nomads, children and anyone in between. In short, we cater for everybody. Our amenities have been up-graded and modernised since we took over the management of this park. Safety of our patrons is the major concern, therefore all sites have had electrical RCD's installed, some trees have been removed, general up-keep program has been initiated. All this has been done to ensure that your stay at our park will be a positive experience for you and that you will hopefully return.
All our park sites have power and town-water and can accommodate big rigs, caravans or tents. (If you would like an unpowered site, which is a bit cheaper, just don't plug into the power.) There are a few drive through sites. We also have on-site fully self contained cabins, on-site vans with an annex and normal on-site vans.
We also provide for our patrons, free of charge, a gas barbecue, a gas pizza oven and a gas fish smoker. Please ask management how to use them, if not sure.
We have a basic children's playground, but there is plenty to do for the little ones.
Lake Bolac offers also the following, all within 50 meters of the caravan park:
1. An excellent 9 hole golf course.
2. An excellent Bowls club.
3. 25 meter swimming pool and kiddies pool (in warmer months.)
4. tennis courts
5. cricket pitch
6. football oval
7. netball courts
8. and of course, the lake is just over the road and is used for fishing, all types of boating and swimming. You can have a BBQ on the foreshore or just
sit and enjoy the view.
You can either participate in the sports or just exercise your eyes (and right elbow), it's up to you. The golf club fees are quite reasonable (only $10.00). During Summer, Easter and March long weekends, fun 'competitions' are held between campers and members of the Bowls Club.
Our park is ideally suited for longer stays for you to explore the wider region of Western Victoria. The world renown Grampians National Park is within a 40 minute drive; the Great Ocean Road is only 1 hour ...read more

I am in my last week of a 13 month caravan trip around Oz. There are 4 things I didn't like about Lake Bolac C/P.
1. 6 minute almost hot timed showers.
2. 2 minute timed lighting in the amenities.
3. Power to the caravan that cuts out but not at the safety switch on the pole. I had to swap poles.
4. Paying $28 for a site when all Internet advice says between $22 and $25.
But I do like that it is Pet Freindly, Good Camp Kitchen, Easy access to Lake and parks and friendly staff.
Worth a visit if the 4 things that annoyed me don't annoy you.
