Lakes Charcoal Chicken & Fish & Chips

This was a iconic local fish and chip shop. Amazingly fresh food, chips were crisp, fish tender, chicken was juicy and the service was professional, friendly and the phone was ALWAYS promptly answered.

NOW, 100% opposite to the above. Average quality food, phone orders take forever to answer or rings out constantly. Have the same simple order, fish, chips and potato cakes and on 3 occasions the has been totally different til I questioned it and compared pricing on their menu board which was cheaper than quoted prices, I was told that they are old prices....

That's it, enough is enough, looking elsewhere now....

This is by far the BEST fish and chip shop I have been to ! Great customer service , so kind polite and always have a smile on their faces! have NEVER had my order wrong and have been going there for months now! I would recommend this to anyone ! great job guys keep up the good work !!!

Best fish and chip around absolutely Flawless

I've been using this fish n chip shop for a long time and I for some reason asked for a receipt when I bought $25- worth of food and found out while there still waiting that I was over charged almost $4. When I asked the staff why the broacher on there counter is showing prices that are cheaper by up too 50 cents they told me that there the old menu prices and I told the them that I was over charged and they looked at me like I wasn't the only one. I found it to be very rude that they never offered my money back or more food.

p.s Ask for a receipt if your going to buy from there.

I wont be going ever.
