Lane Cove Chinese Kitchen

We have eaten here quite often, and are always satisfied with the food, service and atmosphere. It's a quaint restaurant that offers a variety of Chinese food including yum cha dishes. They are also happy to cater for children.

Friday early evening family meal - sullen & unfriendly service, first course of dim sims & pancakes took 25 minutes, then the rice arrived, but no mains after 50 minutes! With two young kids we had to just give up, cancel remaining order & leave. No apologies from staff - didn't seem to care.

Extensive menu, so it shouldn't be too hard to find something you like. At lunch time a lot of people must come in on their lunch break, and that may be because the laksa is excellent. Not a glamorous shop, but that's ok as the prices are not crazy either. Good honest food.

Not the biggest fan of this place, food isn't very flavoursome and lacks imagination. I'll give it another go but I'm not super enchanted to go back for a bit

There is nothing good about this place. Even the name is misleading as I am not sure they have a kitchen, just a microwave and I would not call the dishes Chinese.

But if you were to name it correctly, "Chinese Kitchen" would be renamed. "Reheated tasteless semi-Chinese" So the five of us sat down to what we thought would be a good family run Chinese. No friendly family charm, just Chinese tv blaring in the background.
