Langford & Matthews

Borehole pump failed, asked Langford & Mathews to check. They found loose connection & fixed the pump "over the counter" free of charge. Also offered advice re installation & visited the site for minimum charge. Pump working better than before.

Buffing machine shorting so I took it to Langford and Matthews. I was quoted $585.00 to replace the motor. I paid $44.00 for the diagnosis and took it somewhere else for a second opinion. It turns out the motor was fine and that a small plastic housing had melted and was causing the shorting. So I had it fixed. I paid extra because Langfords did not put it back together and it took extra time to assemble. When I asked Langfords for a refund of the $44.00 for the false diagnosis and their mistake, they refused. I believe I should have received an apology and a refund for their mistake or attempted rip off but I received neither. They made their problem my problem. So we "agreed to disagree" while they retained money.
