Lanis Holiday Island is within easy walking of Forster Shopping Village, access to lake and boat ramp with spacious grassy sites in pleasant surroundings. Park facilities include: Children's playground, laundry, dogs allowed on leash, games room, hot showers, kiosk and barbecue facilities.Tent and powered sites, cabins and onsite vans.

We visited Lanis over New Year couple of year back and we will never go back again. The main camp/cabin sites aren't too bad and about par for the course and the owners cater quite well for younger kids. The problems are with the older kids many of whom use the road to the bush camping area for partying purposes. The resort also seem reluctant to do anything about problem kids/families of which there were a few.
The other issue was with the lack of enforcement of noise/space rules on the bush camping Island. I'd advise families to avoid the bush camping over new year completely. Other times of year may well be fine.
