I think Laugh's Galore definitely is in need of an upgrade. Their facility seems to be owrn out and the layout of the playcentre just doesnt seem at all kid friendly. I was looking into a venue to have my Son's 2nd birthday, and Laugh's Galore was the closest so it was ashame it wasnt to my liking. The staff are friendly and the price is slightly cheaper than other playcentres but it does come down to everything else aswell even though i could have saved a bit. I have been here for other birthdays and i just found it hard to keep an eye out for my son as the seating is quite far away from the play area, so hard to supervise.Just dont have a warm welcoming feeling about it and not much natural light so is slightly dark further in. Personal preference as it still is a busy playcentre and other parents seem to enjoy taking their kids here.
Celebrated my granddaughter 's birthday last week. Could not have imagined a worse venue. Food was rubbish, the place was cold and the whole vibe was unpleasant. Tude staff. How long does it take to make a cup of tea or coffee? Shocking in every way. DO NOT BOOK YOUR CHILD'S PARTY HERE!!!
My sister was considering hosting her Sons birthday here in the upcoming months; we were here over the weekend to inspect the location and had the intention to placing a deposit for the day. It was dark, old, interior and color was so depressing. The seats at the front waiting area were stained and ripped. We had a walk around the centre and I just had a bad feeling and thought this would definitely not be the ideal place I would consider hosting a function for my child. While waiting to place a deposit and have a chat to the manager who was tied up, there were people coming in & out. However the drawing point was a parent who came in abusing and yelling, slamming the front entrance to try to get out, this was when we just stood up and walked out. If this was the ...read more
I went for the first time yesterday 13/7/2013 and wore a jumper and a jacket and it was still freezing in the centre!
If you are going to promote that you have heating, how about using it when it is cold?
The whole place had a cold feel about it. My suggestion would be to put in some couches for the adults, a tv and some carpet, trying giving it a cosy feel.
The food was below average, I tried to get something relatively healthy and I was served a cheese and tomato sandwich drenched in butter on both sides of the bread. A plain hotdog costs $7.80, Never going again!
