I took two down doonas here to be washed & dried. They were returned smelling worse than they went in in smelling. They had obviously been left wet for two long and had not been dried completely which can be damaging to the down. When we took the doonas back and complained they agreed they smelled terrible but refused a refund. They did offer to clean them again but this was unsatisfactory to me given the poor job that was done initially and the potential further damage that could be done to very expensive doonas. Expected a lot more given they are at the expensive end of the scale for this type of service and the way they talk about themselves as "fabric therapists". Complete waste of time and money.
After they ruined my towels and sheets with bleach I vowed never to send anything to them again. I however decided to send my new jacket after a few months and they ruined it. When I went back in to show them and to ask what they did to it they asked to see the label.
I said I know what the label says but what did you do to it. They replied they put in the dryer despite the label saying DO NOT PUT IN DRYER. They promised to refund me the money for my coat but then a few days later they refused to refund me the money and even refused to refund me the $15 it cost for them to ruin it.
