Le Bukhara

In line with our goal of trying every different cuisine, a Groupon deal allowed us to venture into the Indian-Mauritian part of the world at Le Bukhara. Located in a quiet area in Double Bay, I was quite excited for my first ever Indian ‘banquet’.

Food:
For the starter, we ordered the Tandoor Chicken Tikka and a Samosa. Our initial impressions were that the serving sizes were smaller than anticipated, although this did not turn out to be an issue given the quantity of food that came later. More expensive than other take away Indian in the area, but the quality was really good. The butter chicken hadn't been dumbed down and sweetened the way it is in so many other places. The quality of the meat in the other curries was also good. When we got there they also told us not to order of delivery sites as it's cheaper doing direct.

Top quality indian cuisine. Fresh, tasty and authentic. The lamb korma was unreal.
