The entree was not much to talk about one scolop on a plate with a sausage, the main had no flavour the staff was asked a question about glutton options and the reply would there be any more question before I go I'm on a double shift
Then at the end off the night my wife went up to pay our share off the bill, got a lecture from a staff member and then proceeded to lecture the others and then. Asked for a tip
I really feel at home here, its def one of my all time favourites. On two occasions we've had large parties there, sadly didn't always fit my description to others but were both very busy full-house nights. The coq en vin (not on menu) but an occasional "special", is the true measure of a good french restaurant for me and hopefully you'll find it as perfect as I do. Entrees are outstanding here I usually start with the lambs brains or Charcuteries plate. Mains? At least one at the table should order the duck confit to be the envy of others, brilliant ! The owners son is a standout waiter.
Authentic food and atmosphere with good service to boot. The waiters may not know how to pronounce half the items on the menu (neither did I), but ours certainly knew the dishes inside and out and delivered very professional service. You can't go past the Duck Confit and I also had the Scallops with Gruyere as an entree which was fantastic. The wine list was heavily marked up unfortunately (approx 80%) so BYO if you want a glass of wine and you can enjoy a great meal.
