Spectacular hotel, can't be beaten. The attention to detail, marble & terrazzo & mosaic floors are beautiful. Fresh flowers everywhere & Versace prints displayed on all furniture, and designs on crockery & cutlery.
Enjoy High Tea at Vanitas, the buffet lunch or even corporate functions in the rooms provided.
Secure under cover parking available.
Day spa, pools etc all beautifully maintained. Worth even just a visit on a Gold Coast holiday.
This is a lovely place. It is stylish and elegant, and it is where beauty meets great service. It is here where the food is great, for breakfast one day you could have bacon and eggs, the next could be muesli and fruit. ( Palazzo Versace fruit i might add.) The wide variety of food will appeal to anyone, whoever they may be. We are so lucky to have this wonderful establishment in Australia. This is a massive go-to if you are planning to go to the Gold Coast.
Have been here a few times for high tea, cups of tea with girlfriends or a glass of wine and it's truly lovely. The high tea is a real treat and even has a gluten free option. The tea and coffee menus are really comprehensive and the decor is naturally... bright Versace designs in lovely pinks and azure blues. Frock up and enjoy! High tea starts at $32 and you only need a reservation if there's more than 8.
You know its not good when you're 25 percent through a degustation menu wishing it was over and you didn't have to finish your meal - but given its $200 a head you soldier through it thinking of all the times your mum made you finish your vegetables. I had such high expectations for Vanitas, given it has an award winnng sommelier. The star here is definately the sommelier and the floor service was excellent and the wine choice to accompany, or hide the food was excellent. I can only hope our tip only went to them as the food was terrible.
