Yesterday I made a last minute dash into Le Rocs because my other hairdresser was booked up. The service was mediocre, but that's not the problem. I explained my usual haircut, which is literally the simplest and most common men's style at the moment. She immediately explained how that 'that would annoy her', and 'you should just cut it the one length up the sides'. I then said I wanted a couple centre metres off the top. She proceed, and half way through I noticed she was taking off much more than I wanted, but realised it was too late. She put two tonnes of wax in my hair and sent me on my way.
I showered that night and combed hair only to realise it was two different lengthens on both sides, and she didn't merge my hairline. And there was a chunk of hair still unshaved.
Highly recommended.
Worst hairdresser, do not bother getting your haircut here you will only walk out disappointed!
Asked for a trim "not much off the top and fringe, neaten the sides and back" were my instructions, staff may have well just run the number 3 all over, it would have been quicker and straighter! Didn't clip my hairline properly at the back either.
"A trim" apparently means - cut all my hair off!
When a "supposed hairstylist" says they can recreate a hairstyle from the store's own style books and fails abysmally (cutting off excessive lengths of hair) what faith can you have in a business?
Return to the store to speak with somebody about your dissatisfaction and get countered with the "must have been poor communication between you and the hair stylist" line OR "once hair is cut it's cut there no getting it back" attitude.
What communication issue can there be when using the store's own hairstyle books?
AVOID.
This is by far the worst hair dressers I've ever been to! First of all I just wanted a trim which sounds easy enough but they took way to much off when I specifically asked for 2cm since I'd been trying to grow my hair and they didn't even cut it straight.. The left side was way longer than the right side and I had huge chunks in my hair missing because instead of combing the knots out of my hair which was a tough job since I'd only just had my hair dyed blonde, they just cut the knots straight off! And then I asked the hairdresser to straighten my hair as well as its free of charge at every other hairdressers I've ever been to but there it costs 40dollars the same it costs for the cut and in the end they did not even do a good job at straightening as it was still wavy! I always end up with perfectly straight hair at places which it is free of charge too but then this place which charges can't even manage to straighten hair right! I would definitely say to every girl out there ...read more
