I am very disappointed with their service because they are not honest and upfront with their out-of-pocket charges. During my son's initial consultation, I have asked them if the educational assessment will be covered by medicare rebate and they said yes it should be covered. Then during the second visit, they charge my credit card an additional $136 that was not covered by the medicare rebate. When I asked about this they told me that it's for the written report fee and that is only 1/3 of the fee, the total cost for that written report is $500 which the remaining balance will be charge on our next visit and this cannot be claimed under the medicare rebate. I told them why did they not tell me this in the first place and they made an excuse saying I told you I was not sure if everything will be covered. This just tells me that they don't care about their patients and all they want is the money.
completely agree. Their fee schedule is not transparent and left me bewildered on my last session where nothing was claimable because they stretched the sessions over 6 where only 5 were rebateable. Also found the ASD assessment over $1k cheaper down the road. we have now moved to a different psychologist.
