Lefty's is beautifully decorated & laid out to chill with friends. Staff are highly knowledgeable, the mystery cocktail I snagged ended up with repeat requests! The ginger beer they have here is fantastic as well, & delicious American-style nibbles to boot. A great start or end to an evening with plenty of restaurant options along Caxton street right nearby!
As you walk through the large wooden doors into the dimly lit foyer, you get the feeling this is a place with amazing history. You would be right. All of the good times were had at our first visit to Lefty's last night. Amid recommendations and "must tries" was the spiced rum and fresh apple juice....this did not disappoint. Your staff were probably the highlight. Incredibly knowledgeable and all too willing to help - one of the biggest things we took away from our experience at Lefty's and one that will have us coming back. Cheers.
29th of September 2016, 18:00 the Brisbane Food Safari commenced at this hidden gem of a venue. Such a great place to start our wonderful night. The history of Lefty's Old Time Music Hall is 1 of the hidden wonders of Brisbane. Excellent architecture, friendly staff and the Mermaid Room is a wonder that really needs to be seen for yourself. I will definitely be taking family and friends to experience a part of Brisbane which is a hidden piece of historical importance.
