Leichhardt Medical Centre

Had an unplesant experience yesterday, I arrived at the medical centre with a now known to be a fractured wrist. I asked if it was possible to see a doctor asap due to my severe pain. The desk staff 'Mirrella' I believe her name may of been, (an older looking lady with short blonde curly hair with a pink streak) said It wasnt possible although the wait will be an hour due to 20 paitents waiting and 4 doctors. I went to the nurse to get an ice pack who also dismissed the severity of my injury. Regardless of my pain I waited out 2 hours before asking how many people were infront of me in the line. The same lady said there were 8 people and that it could be another hour... as soon as I sat back down the doctor called me in. I believe i was directly lied to with the intention to try and get me to go home when the truth was I was the next paitent in line. This doctor surgery is the best in Leichhardt Have been going for 7 years now. Would not go anywhere else.

I have been to this medical centre for years and find the doctors really care and know how to best help. I have never had a problem with anything there - friendly staff, knowledgeable doctors, good opening hours. Thumbs up.

My wife and I have taken our children to this medical centre since they were babies now over sixteen years. We completely endorse the doctors and staff at this centre. We owe a debt of gratitude to these fine dedicated people for our health which is the utmost in their thoughts and actions.

In todays society people have expectations of other human beings that are unrealistic and frankly arrogant and disrespectful. I am grateful that I live in a country where I can access medical treatment, so what if I have to wait a while, I dont pay a cent directly for the fantastic professional service I receive. Thank you .
