I've landed up here a couple of times, and I have to admit that it is a lovely hotel with a lovely beer garden – except I really don't like this place. The first time I was here all I could remember that I pretty much liked the beer garden, however when I went back to check it out, expecting the same back street charm, I discovered that I actually really didn't particularly like the place, and it had a lot to with the staff. In fact they were pretty blunt, and in part quite rude, despite the fact that all I wanted was a beer. Not only that I was waiting quite a while to actually get served, despite the fact that there were very few people here. Definitely one I wouldn't recommend, and certainly not going back to again.
Went here for a party and was very impressed with the surroundings, food and service. A lovely, relaxed atmosphere with delicious finger food served with a smile. A really great place for a party. They have a lovely exposed brick room at the back of the hotel which has some seating too.
