Lemoncello Cafe/Restaurant

Been to this place many times purely because of the convenience and for the sake of the kids who love pizza. Their Pizzas are ok. However, the food especially pasta dishes are extremely bland. Coffee not so good. Since they've changed owners it has gone downhill in quality overall. Menu is always the same and boring. To top off our recent experience we ordered a variety of entree dishes and the anitpasto was THE WORST ever! It was a block of wood piled up with black & gold brand olives from Woolies, Cheap highly processed Ham & Salami out of the packet (No exaggeration), definitely purchased from the neighbouring Woolies, Loads of cheese especially blue cheese which is quite strong and you only need a tiny bit (anyway I didnt order a cheese platter?) and loads of bread sticks and bread to cover up. Food was excellent although expensive. Hard to understand waiter with his accent and the very noisy atmosphere....sitting next to wall at the back did not help!

I will never return to this restaurant! Order was incorrect.The staff reported that the table next to us walked out after paying a bill that was incorrectly handed to them for a table of 4 instead of 7. We were advised this before we asked for our bill, when it arrived it was another tables tip - instead of the requested bill. After settling the bill the staff came to dispute and advise that a meal remained unpaid -it wasn't on the bill, the total was paid plus tips. The management came to the table and aggressively stood over the top of the guests at the table and yelled over the top of me 'Did you eat the meal?' when I was attempting to understand how another error had occurred . I have never been treated with such disrespect and so aggressively in any restaurant experience. I along with my friends will never return to this restaurant again. Lemoncello's ok, but not that impressive. The service is luke warm and while the food is ok, prices seem a bit on the high side.
