Only ten minutes from the city centre, this innovatively restored former historical residence exudes an atmosphere of harmony and warmth.
The interior is all pastels, while tables are dressed to impress and well spaced. The drinks list is impressive. Varieties, vintages and regions are well spread and single-glass selection is good, though in parts pricey.
The menu is classic Swiss European meets retro meets silver service..Starters and entrees include oysters five ways, soups, grilled quail and several salads. Main courses follow a traditional meat/poultry/fish with sauce or demi-glaze path. I enjoyed this place so much for dinner that I organised a High Tea babyshower on a Sunday for $50 per guest. The staff I made the booking with was exceptionally helpful. Staff also allowed me to decorate the table as I wished. We enjoyed the surroundings but were ignored the whole function except to initially bring us our platter. I had to find the wait staff to order tea and coffee and also to ask for water and then to get the bill. This was embarassing. Also if you're organising a babyshower here make sure you request pregnancy friendly food.
We come to Lenzerheide at least twice a year. The experience is always memorable. From the moment you book with Sandy to the time your waitress/waiter opens the door to say goodbye, it will always be a night to remember.
Fine food, excellent service and a wine list to die for. Whether your a couple or large group you can expect the same service and attention.
An amazing restaurant!
The food was amazing, and very filling! The time and energy the kitchen staff put into plating it all up, was definitely shown, everything was delicately laid out, and I loved the vegetable bunches!
The desserts were to die for! They were amazing and flavoursome, the Strawberry in the snow was such a treat! It was lovely!
The Service was amazing, every staff member was happy and cheerful and very lovely! They looked after us very well, and being as it was my first experience into fine dining and silver service, it was a wonderful one!
The laying out of the room was stunning, the room was airy and open. It was lovely to be able to sit down to an amazing meal and not hear the next table's conversation. Just a stunning restaurant!
You get what you pay for here, and I can guarantee that I will be back!
I loved it!
If you feel like getting a bit dressed up and splashing out on a special night, this place fits the bill. Its an elegant setting with white linen table cloths and attentive silver service. All of the dishes are delicious with that European flair, and you get the sense that a lot of preparation and attention to detail has gone into your meal. Suits romantic nights out as well as group functions. A special night out.
