Live, Laugh, DanceThe Leonie Brown Dance Academy offers dedicated young dancers the opportunity to study with one of the dance community's most distinguished dance educators and to compete against other talented young people across the country!
We teach Jazz, Modern Expressive and excel in Tap dance. We are also proud to announce that we have a special needs dance class. Our studio locations are situated at Castle Hill and Crestwood.
The dancers from the LBDA are constantly competing at eisteddfods, doing charity and community event shows, and perform at the Castle Hill RSL for our end of year concert, which is showcased in front of hundreds of people, including representatives from our local council.

I used to dance at Leonie brown dance and to be honest it didn't take me anywhere. We only went to 2 comps each year and only do one dance that we learnt last year. Great starting point but if you want to be a real dancer I would recommend somewhere else.
I have Tap danced since I was 4 years old, and I love it. However as life would have it, I had to stop due to work, having children and other "life gets in the way things".
I heard through a friend (whose daughter goes to this studio) that the Leonie Brown dance academy has an adult tap class and I went to have a look. WOW is all I can say, there were at least 20 people in the class, and they were all having fun. I immediatly dusted off my tap shoes and joined up straight away. I am now having a great time, re-learning all of those steps that I once knew, and also learning new ones.
Great dance school.
Both my 8 year old daughter and 2 year old son attend the Leonie Brown dance academy. My daughter is now dancing in eisteddfods in solo and troupes (and winning), and my little boy had a small spot in the studio concert.
Leonie Brown is very approachable and professional, and the atmosphere in the studio is friendly and inviting. I am so glad that I found this studio, I am even thinking of joining the adult tap class myself!
