Les Deux Coqs

Les Deux Coqs do the Farmers Market circuit but are currently residing in the Producer in Residence stall at the Adelaide Central Market. I stopped by and tried their rillettes - yum. A jar of the pork rillettes came home with me. They also have a variety of saucission (french sausage) which was delicious too. Their jars of tapenades and other accompaniments of course, compliment their food perfectly. You can pretty much get your next gourmet french picnic here.

I came across these guys at the Adelaide Central Market where they have a dandy little stall. They got me at 'hello' in their lovely French accents - there's no doubt their products are genuine. They have special little tasting plates of all their goods and are more than happy to make suggestions and tell you the background of where each of their products are from, what they could be eaten with and pretty much anything you want to know.
I love the Olive Tapenade, closely followed by the Salted Caramel paste. Their prices are certainly reasonable for the quality and strength of flavour of their products.
