WARNING: Let's Rent could only be more incompetent if they decided to punch clients in the face and then charge them for the privilege. Morally bankrupt and agressive in their pursuit of surcharges for imagined infractions and capricious, non-existent, misdemeanours. Their unwritten policy is bleed them dry of every penny and threaten legal action if you dont accept.

Many Real Estate agents understand the importance of not only representing their landlords but establishing an environment where tenants feel respected and are treated in a courteous manner. Let's Rent is NOT one of those agents. I have been a tenant and landlord for over 20 years so as a landlord i'd be concerned they create more claims and disputes than they resolve. While tenants, we were treated as mildly annoying eg querying why numerous light bulbs were not working when we moved in and then when we vacated the property they refused the release of our bond by attempting to make claims that were lacking in good faith, unreasonable and vexatious. If you are a tenant with them fortify yourself for the distress and inconvenience when you move out, as a landlord you are likey to be regularly resolving disputes.
We rented with Lets Rent for just over two years and they were the worst real estate I have ever dealt with. Their maintenance department was an absolute joke. Our property was a strata property, one of three townhouses, and we had problems after problems with neighbours not respecting the strata and things needing to be fixed in the house. Eventually we had to BREACH Lets Rent and the landlord and leave the property. We had a roof leak from a storm, that came through the kitchen in various areas and left holes in our kitchen ceiling, which ended up having bugs coming through which was disgusting because it was over the food prep area. After SIX MONTHS of repeatedly complaining to have it fixed, there was still no resolution and the problem was becoming worse so we breached them.
