I have to disagree with my fellow reviewers who feel this place is over priced! I mean it's located in Lane Cove! I come here mainly for a coffee and raisin toast for my boy. Normally this would set you back $4.00 for the coffee and another $4 for one slice of raisin toast. Combined this is $5 for a regular coffee and two pieces of toast. So I don't call this pricey, but the best way to start my mornings with my son in Lane Cove.
We have also tried the bacon and egg roll, which is fine. Atleast "Lettuce Tempt You" has more selection than just white rolls. Staff are friendly, prompt and do their best during the lunch rush!
Absolutely overpriced. I bought a simple gluten-free ham sandwich there and was charged an extra $2 just for the gluten free bread (it came an astounding $9)! Come on guys- the whole loaf of gluten free break costs $2 extra to a normal bread loaf. This is not a lifestyle choice for me- my daughter is coeliac so cannot eat gluten. I certainly wont' be buying there again.
Love that they have joined forces with the local Vision studio to have a vision approved menu - makes eating out soo much easier for those of us trying to watch what we eat.
We got some platters for a picnic a couple of weeks ago and everyone commented on how nice and full of topings the sandwiches were. No mouthful of bread with a tiny bit of filling to be seen.
The range of breads is very good as well and makes a nice change.
