Leura Chinese Restaurant

Perfect tasty affordable local Chinese food. Our family loves take away from them at least once every few weeks.

Saturday night we had a lovely family dinner at Leura Chinese Restaurant. Food was great and came out hot and fresh but were a little scattered. The staff are friendly, the restaurant very clean, and well presented, even if a little dated. At the end of the evening the 2 children were given chocolates as a treat. I would recommend you visit this restaurant.

The service in this restaurant is truly hopeless - they seem unable to get meals out on time or to the right tables. When were there, the mains were randomly delivered over a 40 minute time span. By the time the last main arrived everyone had resorted to sharing earlier mains so we sent the last one back with a rude staff as everyone had long finished. The food is reasonably priced for Leura and perfectly edible but the service is so poor we won't be going back.They need to get some sort of organisation in their kitchen.

What can I say? Not even the retro styling saves this restaurant. Rude staff. Do not go here with groups or families, the staff are unable to cope with large groups and in fact seemed to loose their patience. Was comparable to Sydney prices for food and did not offer value for money. I think it might be ok for takeaway?
