Libertine Bar
Libertine Bar
East meets West courtesy of a fusion of French and Vietnamese cuisine in Libertine, located in the historic Paddington Barracks building. Expect a chicken liver paté to arrive with a green papaya salad. The setting features Chinoiserie chairs, striking wallpaper and opulent, low-hanging chandeliers. Shared dishes are all the go here, and banquets are ideal for groups wanting to test myriad items. The wagyu and pork belly are winning rave reviews from restaurant-goers.

Delectable dishes with the perfect fusion of Vietnamese and French inspired dishes! Wagyu dish is the star favourite when we go there and the happy hour cocktails are always a great way of spending the afternoon between 4-6pm. They have great lunch banquet specials too and affordable and good variety makes it a must go and must eat!
* food takes forever to arrive
* staff are fine, until you go up the food chain, where the rudeness, and sense of self entitlement seem to have poisoned the water
* entrees were warm at best
* waiting at the bar for service took over thirty mins
* only to then be rudely addressed by a very young woman
* making any questions about how long it will take to be fed, is met by a duty manager, and is just about as helpful, again you are treated with rude contempt for even asking for assistance.
Do yourself a favour, there are plenty of restaurants out there that actually treat the customer with respect. This sadly was not one of them.
