A cute cafe on the main road of the shops in chatswood, overlooking the park in the precinct near the arts centre. Nice outlook and the theme of the cafe is industrial / vintage. Menu has a range of breakfast options including acai bowls, breakfast salads and an amazing sounding mac and cheese benedict. There is also a huge platter advertised that would feed a family with sweets, eggs and more - looks awesome. Lunch options include a few different burgers and also salmon or what I selected, a vegetarian platter. The platter was huge - really nice haloumi, asparagus arancini x2, a fried zucchini flower and a frittata. It also had a small bowl of olives and gherkins, cheddar cheese, sourdough and dips - hummus, capsicum and a tomato relish. I enjoyed it and there was so much that they kindly let me take some home. Coffee was also pretty good.
Nicely decked out space in the heart of busy Chatswood, it's actually a two storey cafe, enter the lower level from Victoria Ave, and there are internal stairs leading to another level, and, due to the slope of the land, you're now level with the grassy area near the library. Staff are warm, I just want to see more interesting small things to eat with a morning coffee. I will return though.
