Light Up Balgowlah

Whilst it seems there are some who had poor experiences; mine was on the other end of the scale. I cannot possibly know what happened to those people, but from my own experience, the service was exceptional, even a year after the completion of my renovation and purchases.

The staff and owner were knowledgeable and professional at all times. When I needed replacements or refunds for faulty lights, it was done without question. I had a large number of pricey downlights and we had an unusual number fail over a period of 12 months. I had one occassion where I forgot to bring in the faulty light, so I bought a new one. When I returned the faulty light, they refunded me.

They were reliable, friendly and timely.

Horrible experience, similar to the others. Don't buy there!
After confirmation on the phone that they have the product I wanted, I gave them my CC details and paid for it.
Upon pick up, they told me, that they don't have the product and it will take 4-5 month to order it.
I wanted to get my money back, as I urgently need it (that's why I was confirming availability beforehand), but they did not want to refund! If you question their refund policy, all you will get is aggression. I think the owner and the sales lady never heard of anything like customer service, however I have to say that one sales guy and also the guy in the warehouse were always friendly and nice.
Overall absolutly shocking!

Similar experience to other reviewer. Bought a replacement glass for a ceiling light and the sales lady said I could bring it back for a full refund if it didn't fit. When I tried to return it the obnoxious owner refused to refund me as he said it was not their policy to refund unless it's written on the invoice. So not only did he insinuate that I was lying but said I am lucky to even get a store credit. When I queried him on these points he became quite aggressive and then refused to even give me a store credit, because I was so called 'arguing' with him. He added that I should never come back to his shop. Absolute zero respect for a customer! They will never see my business again, be warned if you purchase here

I bought some lights here and found the add to be extensively helpful. To the point I was bamboozled by their knowledge. They have really good prices too, best I found on the beaches.
